Dr. Francoise Robe is a Program Director specializing in meteorological and
dispersion modeling with over twelve years experience in applied meteorology and
environmental consulting. She has conducted and managed several dispersion modeling
studies for the aluminum, oil, and chemical industries worldwide. She has worked in
Europe, the United States, and the Middle East, and has also performed air quality
studies in Africa and South East Asia. She co-developed the CALMET meteorological
model and initiated the combined use of mesoscale, diagnostic and dispersion models.
She has conducted several CALMET/CALPUFF training courses for government agencies,
industries, and universities in the United States and abroad.
She has a Ph.D. in meteorology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and
has published several papers on air quality and mesoscale meteorological modeling.
